Jade Sarsero (@jadesarsero) is an Aquatic Physiotherapist who graduated from university with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. With a penchant for physical and mental challenges, Jade’s love for exercising and CrossFit allows her to cope with the stress of everyday life. She found her passion for physiotherapy after shadowing specialist physiotherapists for work experience for a week and was impressed at the versatility of the profession. Jade has also worked in one of the busiest hospitals in South Wales as a Senior Physiotherapist and was the hydrotherapy clinical lead in the musculoskeletal out-patients department. Additionally, Jade also served as a Senior at a Health Boards satellite clinic supervising senior and junior physiotherapists and mentoring students. Having a wealth of experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation, Jade assists athletes from all levels of sport to recover from injury and develop strategies to prevent recurrences. Her extensive portfolio runs the gamut from professional and semi-professional rugby players to beginner and elite gymnasts, to name a few. Comfortable in managing patients with acute/traumatic and chronic/overuse injuries, Jade’s experience in injury prevention strategies utilising training modification and strength and conditioning has helped them return to their sport and activity. Chronic pain and post-operative rehabilitation are also her areas of expertise. Naturally sociable and full of energy, Jade derives satisfaction from helping her patients recover and return to their activities. Believing that everybody is different, she adapts treatment to suit each patient’s individual needs and takes pride in helping them reach their goals.
