We know that gyms can feel intimidating and the amount of information available online can be overwhelming, especially when you are just getting started or coming back to training after time away. Even though you might have the same goal as someone else, your pathway to achieving that goal is going to look different based on your body, your strengths, your weaknesses, and your starting point. That's why we designed a supportivepersonalised, and data-driven program that takes away the guesswork to ensure you get the best possible results. What's included in the program?

In order to set you up for long-term success, fitness should not be looked at in isolation. That's why our Foundation Program takes a holistic approach, incorporating multiple key components of health. Instead of generic advice or short-term fixes, you'll receive personalised support that’s designed to create real, lasting change.

Body Composition Assessments
Body Composition Assessments

Your body composition tells a powerful story about your health and fitness. By tracking key metrics like skeletal muscle mass and body fat, we ensure you’re working towards optimal health and performance. We take these measurements using our InBody Scanner at two critical points: the program's start and end. Maintaining healthy levels of muscle and fat isn’t just about looking good, it’s about feeling great and reducing the risk of long-term health issues.

Physio or Podiatry Consultation

In week one, you'll see either a Physiotherapist or Podiatrist depending on your goals, injury history, or current movement challenges. This consultation is to clear you for training and to provide your Strength Coach and Pilates Instructor with even more insight into the challenges you may face and strategies to overcome them as you start regular exercise.

Personal Training Sessions

This is one of the main components of your program. Based on your goals, one of our experienced Strength Coaches will design a personalised program for you to help increase your strength and movement confidence, and consistently and progressively build across the eight weeks.

Reformers Pilates Sessions
Reformer Pilates

This is one of the main components of your program. Based on your goals, your Pilates Instructor will help you work on your posture, alignment, mobility, and core strength - unlocking range of motion and helping your body move the way it was meant to.

PT Page - Nutrition
Nutrition Sessions & Active Management Throughout Good nutrition foundations are essential for optimal wellbeing. Using insights from your health assessments and information shared by your coach about your goals, lifestyle and challenges, our registered Nutritionist will support you throughout the program with 2 personalised nutrition consultations, and direct communication via our coaching app.

Physical Performance Screening

An important step in your journey is objectively assessing how well your body moves and performs. Using advanced technology, we carry out a series of tests to measure your strength, mobility and stability, providing actionable insights into your movement patterns. Testing occurs at the beginning of the program, so we can understand your baseline and create a personalised program based on the results, and at the end to assess the progress you've made.

Detailed ReportsWe provide you with two detailed reports at the start and end of the program, which compile all your test results and actionable next steps. A review of the reports will be conducted by your lead Strength Coach.
Unlimited ClassesSquare
Access To Unlimited Classes

Alongside weekly Personal Training and Reformer Pilates sessions, you'll have unlimited access to all the classes we have on offer, including mobility, cardio, strength, and tennis burn. Your coach will recommend which classes best complement your program and goals.

MEET

Meet a UFIT fitness professional at one of our hubs for a complimentary 45-minute health and fitness consultation. We will set your goals in place using the effective 1-3-5 method, which will leave you feeling motivated to get started.

PLAN

Once you’ve committed, we will share your goals, needs and health metrics with your chosen Strength Coach & Pilates Instructor and book you in for your initial assessments. Once completed, we will provide you with a comprehensive report detailing your results & next steps.

TRAIN
Get onboarded onto the UFIT coaching app and start your bespoke PT program with your chosen coach. After 8 weeks, you will complete your retesting and receive a review report showcasing your progress.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT'S THE program EXPIRY?

The Foundation Program has a 8 week expiry from the date of your first session. 

Can I freeze my program? You may freeze your program once during the 8 week program for up to 4 weeks. If you are traveling or sick, this is the best option for you. Simply email ptsubscriptions@ufit.com.sg to request a freeze, and they will handle the back end admin for you.
Can I pay as I go?

The 8-week Foundation Program is a fixed price. You will have to pay for this upfront, however you can use Atome to pay in installments. 

Can I choose my personal trainer?

You are matched with your PT on the following criteria:

- Your goals
- Your preferred training style
- Your availability
- Your trainer preference, for example you might prefer a male or female personal trainer

Don’t worry if you’re not sure about some of these - we will walk you through all these steps in your health consultation! 

Can I use multiple locations as part of my program?

You can use any of our locations as part of the 8 week program, however once you have selected a primary location for your Pilates and PT sessions, you will not be able to change half way through. You may choose to do both at the same location for ease, but you could, for example, do PT at Club Street and Pilates at Orchard for the 8 weeks if you wish.

In person nutrition consults are only available at Club Street and City Hall, and Podiatry is only available at Club Street, so you may have to travel to other hubs for these parts of your program. We also have online nutrition consults available. 

Can I access other services in your Circle of Care during the 8 weeks?

Yes of course, however this is not included in the program. If you need to see one of our Physios or health clinicians for further treatment, you can speak to the front desk to make an appointment for an additional fee. 

How do the professionals work together on my program? All of the UFIT professionals collaborating on your program will have shared access to your data and insights via the new UFIT coaching app. They will know what your goals are and what strategies are in place to get you there, and they will be speaking to you and each other about your progress, your challenges, and the plan in place to overcome these. This is an incredibly unique and powerful approach that we are confident will get you the results you want. 
Can I claim any of my Allied Health sessions through my insurance?

Unfortunately you are unable to claim any part of your program through insurance. However any follow up or additional treatment outside of the program may be claimable on your policy. If required, this is something that your Physiotherapist or Podiatrist will discuss with you. 

How long are the 1-1 sessions in the program?

PT & Reformer Pilates: 60 mins
Physio/Podiatry Consult: 30 mins 
Physical Performance Screen: 45 mins
