Stuart Bauld is an Exercise Physiologist who have played semi-professional football in both UK and Australia. He began working in the fitness industry in 2012 while living and studying in Sydney, Australia. Whilst there he developed a passion for exercise physiology; specifically how the body responds to acute and chronic bouts of exercise. His undergraduate degree in Sport Science together with his post graduate Masters’ Degree in Strength and Conditioning have further enabled him to develop a strong understanding of applied exercise physiology as well as develop knowledge on the importance of controlling the variables of exercise in order to achieve specific training goals.
Stuart specialises in sport-specific strength and conditioning, corrective exercises, physiological testing and nutritional guidance. He has also applied structured, individualised programs to develop a variety of goals including fat-loss, increasing lean muscle mass, maximal strength and explosive power. This also involved carrying out testing batteries in order to assess physical conditioning; including markers such as maximal strength, movement efficiency, aerobic capacity and lactate profiling.
Stuart believes that movement efficiency is a core principle of mine with all programs commencing with a movement screen to identify any movement limitations/dysfunctions from which a specific and individualised program is assembled from.
