Sam Brennan UFIT Physiotherapist

Sam Brennan (@singaporephysio) is a Senior Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Sports Therapy and the University of Northumbria with an MSc in Physiotherapy. In addition, he also has personal training, sports massage, clinical pilates and dry needling qualifications.

He had worked in the health and fitness industry for a number of years, but in more recent years has worked in private practice, dealing with post-operative, sports and chronic injury patients. His skill set enables his clients to see him from initial injury all the way through to their end stage goals. Having been an active sportsman his whole life, Sam understands the personal needs and requirements of returning to training and competition following an injury. He is a strong believer in a hands-on approach to treatment but also believes that individualised exercise rehabilitation plays a vital part in this process.

Sam has experience of playing a high standard of rugby and has a big passion for this sport, so he is still actively involved in the sport but now as pitch-side physio for both local and the Singapore national men’s 15s team. He is also involved with most of the international rugby tournaments that come to Singapore.
