Rory is a personal trainer who has been kicking a football for as long as he can remember and played professionally until he was 23 then semi-professionally. Being active has always been both his passion and his job. Being a trainer is perfect for him as he loves coaching and teaching.
Rory has a wealth of experience training clients from a plethora of backgrounds, from CEOs in Asia, professional athletes in Europe to underprivileged children in North America, this makes him adept at assessing and prescribing progressive programs for his clients. He feels the most rewarding aspect of his job is developing great friendships with his clients and learning from them as they work together. He has also worked with clients for pre-wedding fitness, post-natal training and a group of extremely dedicated men about to climb Mount Everest. His football background has also given him the edge to work with team sport athletes and young people.
From a personal perspective, Rory’s fitness goals had previously been based upon being in peak condition each week during the football season, so tough sessions are combined with enough rest and recovery. Nowadays however he is much more focused on balancing effective training with a healthy lifestyle, good food and sound sleep.
