Melissa Gut (@s_beauty11) is a personal trainer and a former collegiate volleyball player with a background in gaelic football, lacrosse, football and rugby. Her interest in fitness grew with her desire to be a better athlete, on top of wanting to understand how the body works and how to prevent injury. This passion turned into a career and Melissa has coached in a variety of environments coaching CrossFit, Strength and conditioning, Personal Training, Olympic lifting and an online Health and Wellbeing Platform.
During her competitive days Melissa have competed in the CrossFit Regionals, these days she strives to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. She is a stickler for technique when training and this knowledge is helpful to her clients with injuries or ongoing pain. She finds joy in helping her clients reach her goals and discovering what they are capable of physically and mentally.
Over the years Melissa has developed a specialisation in rehabilitation and injury prevention, helping people with chronic pain and postural/muscular imbalances. She also specialises in pre and postnatal fitness. Interestingly, Melissa used to be a mad tap dancer in her prime and you may still find her pulling out a little shuffle-ball change combo on a night out.
