Evi (@evi__b) is a Personal Trainer with a background as a dancer, dance teacher and competitive volleyball player at the national level. With her growing interest in sports, she also pursued a Sports Science degree and became a CrossFit coach.
As a trainer, she is an advocate that proper technique comes first. She specialises in strength training, body transformation, high-intensity training and programming. She loves working with people and seeing her clients moving better, making overall improvement and achieving their goals. She also sees herself being there not just as a coach, but also as a friend.
Evi’s skill set goes beyond the gym. She also works as a Soft Tissue Therapist where she uses advanced techniques to help achieve optimum health, performance and pain-free life. She also completed a master’s degree to acquire a broad understanding of the underlying scientific principles of Physical Therapy in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Her research interest lies primarily in the area of chronic pain, more specifically low back pain.
Her eagerness to learn never stops. She is currently enrolled for another MSc in Epidemiology.
Evi’s biggest inspiration in life is her mom and dad and she lives by the quote: “It's better to cross the line and suffer the consequences than to just stare at the line for the rest of your life.”
