A mother of two based in Singapore for over 10 years, Debbie O’Neill is an Australian registered Nutritionist with a focus on clinical nutrition.
Growing up with eczema, asthma and allergies, Debbie relied on medications that were only masking the underlying issues instead of improving her conditions. Her personal experience with her health issues helped her understand that diet and lifestyle changes can make a significant impact on the body. When Debbie was older, she came to the realization that certain foods triggered many of her symptoms and being aware of the signs was one of the most important steps in her healing.
Debbie was also confronted with misinformation when dealing with her children’s nutrition and clinical conditions and spent countless hours doing her own research. When she was looking up on ways to heal her children, Debbie decided to study nutrition full-time to obtain the necessary qualifications to be a registered Nutritionist so she could make well-educated decisions for her family.
Joining UFIT as a Clinical Nutritionist, Debbie previously spent a year interning at UFIT under the guidance of the team. Adopting an evidence-based approach that focuses on the whole body instead of just the areas of concern, she shows great empathy and support towards her clients with individually-tailored nutrition treatment plans.
With a keen interest in women’s health, hormonal health and pre-conception care, Debbie is passionate about educating people about the importance of nutrition and its impact on health and wellbeing. Constantly up to date with the latest research, Debbie’s mantra is to make it easy for people to achieve good health through diet with fresh, wholesome foods and simple lifestyle changes.
