Dan Arthur (@thefightingphysio) is one of our senior Physiotherapists and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) mobility specialist, but also an advanced Personal Trainer and Martial arts coach.
With over 10 years of experience working in physiotherapy and sports, he has worked within a number of roles. Daniel started his career in England’s National Health Service where he worked up to senior physiotherapist - specialising in treating sports injuries, common injuries and post-operative patients, with a side interest in treating dizziness, vertigo and balance issues (vestibular Rehabilitation). His sports experience comes from a long list of professional clubs including; Bristol City Football Club, Gloucester Rugby Club, Aston Villa Football Club and Singapore National Rugby team.
Daniel has devoted his life to fitness and focuses his career on injury rehabilitation and prevention by understanding the close relationship injury has to stress, sleep, diet and the physical condition of the body.
Daniel has compiled the techniques that fighters, Rugby players, Footballers and other world-class athletes use to develop his own personalised brand of rehab training programs. This has led him to a successful career helping people improve mobility and function to recover from an injury while increasing muscle mass and losing body fat at the same time to lead a happier healthier life.
Daniel has a black belt in Korean kickboxing/Taekwondo and a black belt in American freestyle kickboxing, he is also experienced in western boxing, Kung fu, Karate, and Muay Thai. He has been coaching martial arts since the age of 16, from beginners to experienced fighters and has fought internationally, represented England at the ICO World Championships in Italy, winning a bronze medal.
