It’s that time of year in January when we all set ourselves those goals and then by March they are all but slung by the wayside and we are back to where we started. In the Health and Fitness industry, January is our busiest month for that very reason, our clients arrive full of hope and ambition and it’s our job to keep them on that road. So how do we do it?
Meet Jules. Having lost 11% body fat and 7.3kg everyone at UFIT who has met him has been inspired by his journey, and the changes he has made to his life, after training with Liam O’Neill (@Lrj_oneill), Personal Trainer at Amoy gym and being supported by UFIT Nutrition.
Singapore is an awesome place for nightlife and drinks. For a lot of people in Singapore, drinking and entertaining is also a huge part of their jobs. But how many of us use this as an excuse? How many actually want to have a short period without alcohol to improve your well-being? How many of us need to drink less? And why aren’t friends and family being more supportive?

We first met Christian Dally one year ago when he was over 98kg and about to start the UFIT Clean & Lean Challenge. He won after losing 9% body fat, and a year later is totally ripped, super fit, his mind is sharper and he's never felt better in his life. We all think he's totally awesome.

This private oasis in the middle of the CBD allows clients to feel part of the welcoming, vibrant CrossFit community downstairs, yet provides a quieter, dedicated area to focus in and smash their goals with their Personal Trainer.
Andrew Robertson took on a 100 day weight-loss challenge on the advice of his UFIT Amoy St trainer Lawrence Cartwright. Over that time Robbo had to cut alcohol for 100 days, send Lawrence photos of every meal he ate, and make huge changes to his diet. Lawrence also suggested he go public on Facebook over those 100 days for extra motivation.
Regardless of the type of exercise you do, including strength training in the mix is super-important. Apart from making you stronger and adding definition to your muscles for a more toned and fit-looking body, it offers so much more:
Evy Theunis lost 6.73% body fat in the UFIT Clean & Lean Challenge 15 - and was the female runner-up in the Challenge.
It doesn't take killing yourself in the gym and starving yourself to achieve the results you want for your you body and health.
