Anikka (@athletesbyanikka) is a personal trainer who has always been involved in a range of sports growing up. This passion then brought her to excel in Sport and Health Sciences in the UK, where she had the opportunity to represent England Students Women’s Open in international Touch Rugby tournaments. On top of her Bachelors degree, she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and is completing a Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning Science.
Anikka's personality and charisma makes her adaptable to working with clients of all ages, with many different goals whether it be strength, aesthetic or performance based. She has experience in coaching athletes from a variety of sporting backgrounds, focusing on improving strength in all ranges of motion and pain free movement. Anikka also assists with the UFIT Youth Sports for Life camps, helping young athletes keep active and develop their athletic traits through sampling an array of sports.
When it comes to working with her clients, Anikka puts 100% into getting to know her clients, their goals and their motivation, as she believes these are important factors in creating individualised programs. Her coaching philosophy revolves around five key pillars of a balanced lifestyle (Rest, Exercise, Nutrition, Mindset and Lifestyle), and helps her clients understand the relationship between them. During her spare time she likes to practice her handstands and gymnastic work.
