Since making a career change from financial accounting 11 years ago, Leigh has lived his passion for the fitness industry in the UK, Middle East, Asia and Europe. He’s worked with some of UK’s leading fitness educators, such as Discovery Learning, Fitness Wales, Train Fitness, along with Cardiff Met University. In 2012, Leigh founded his own education training company,  FFTAcademy. 

During his time in the Middle East,  Leigh was part of a ground-breaking project to deliver industry-accredited training qualifications to leading gyms in the UAE.  He played a key role with the Bahrain Military Defence Hospital to provide training and education to their physiotherapists who were leading the country's first Centre of Excellence Obesity Project. He also worked with Bapco and the country’s leading dietician to front Bahrain’s ‘Biggest Loser’ campaign, and presented to hundreds of employees.

These projects energised Leigh to continue in the industry as an educator. After he returned to the UK, Leigh continued his work as a tutor. He also developed a passion for kettlebell training, which led to teaching engagements at the Military Rehabilitation Centre Hedley Court, and fitness institutions in Singapore and Dubai.

Leigh has spent time training with some of the leading figures in the industry, and has recently completed his Certified Physical Preparation Specialist Certification (CPPS) with Joe De Franco and Jim Smith at the Onnit Academy in Austin, Texas.

Rachel Harling

Rachel is a NASM certified personal trainer and ACE certified group fitness instructor.

She was previously based in New York City teaching indoor rowing at a boutique studio and bootcamps in Central Park. Rachel is interested in functional fitness, athletic conditioning and helping women get into strength training.

Her background is in swimming, running and dance. She has a degree in German and Spanish from the University of Southampton, UK.

William Foden

Will believes in helping his clients become their best self both physically and mentally.

Will has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, as a self employed personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach and bootcamp owner. He has experience with a wide range of clients including rehab, weight loss and sports performance.

His passion and experience is driven by years of playing professional rugby. He understands the hard work and discipline needed to achieve life long goals

Will has a Bsc Hons degree in Strength and Conditioning and an Msc in Coaching Science from Hartpury College, UK.

During his time at Hartpury Will represented Gloucester Academy and A teams. He went on to play professionally at Doncaster Knights in the IPA Championship. While at Doncaster he worked in a physiotherapy clinic as a personal trainer. Over the next two years Will played semi professional rugby for Hull Ionion’s (UK) and the Manly Marlins (Australia), before coming to Singapore.

Will is also a BTN registered nutrition coach, learning how to implant different nutrition strategies to meet individual client needs.

Fully qualified personal trainer who brings a humanistic approach to training learnt through his studies within coaching and teaching. Having studied in these areas it has allowed him to bring these into his sessions to optimise performance and goals.

Originally from a sporting background having represented Scotland Rugby in Under 18s, 19s and 20s. In addition to being a integrally part of The UK’s leading Rugby/ University Academy he also represented Gloucester Rugby at ‘A League’ level.

His career was brought to a sharp end after 3 full knee reconstructions and over 8 operations. This made him follow other interests in conditioning, coaching and teaching that I was studying in when my injury issues hit. That has led him to where he is now, working & helping others achieve their goals, be it weight loss, weight gain, sports specific or just looking to enjoy UFIT for all of its many qualities!

Chris has a background of working within elite sport as a Strength and Conditioner. This has included experience with GB Rowing, England Rugby U20's and South Sydney Rabbitohs. But the majority of his work was with the Exeter Chiefs where Chris was an Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach. 

As part of his roles Chris has developed his knowledge and experience in athletic development in both adults and children. He is currently adding to this knowledge while studying his MSc in Strength and Conditioning at St. Mary's University, Twickenham. 

Chris is also a Level 2 Rugby Coach and is currently coaching at local club sides. As an experienced Skills and Strength & Conditioning Coach Chris has the expertise to tailor programmes to develop both physical and skill based attributes effectively.

John retired from Rugby in the summer of 2016 after a ten-year career playing for England 7s and Northampton Saints. Throughout John’s career he received world class strength and conditioning experience and soon gained a passion for it. This interest led to John becoming a fully qualified PT and taking on clients.

GRANT MCLEOD

Grant is a strength and conditioning coach who has worked in professional and elite level sport with a background in sport and exercise science.

While gaining his degree he worked with a number of professional football clubs in Scotland ranging from Scottish Championship teams Cowdenbeath and Falkirk FC to Berwick Rangers and Edinburgh City FC in the Scottish League 2. This was followed by a position as Sport Science assistant with the University of Stirling working with athletes in a number different sports.

The experience of working within these institutes and clubs has helped Grant to develop a great understanding of developing strength through quality movement appropriate to the needs of the individual or group.

Charlotte Macfarlane

Charlotte's transition into fitness and ultimately to become a PT began when she was training to become an actress. As an actress she constantly had to maintain an understanding with her body through movement, dance and the Alexander Technique. Through this Charlotte discovered a love of fitness that has transitioned from a hobby to becoming a full time passion and a career.

Before moving to Singapore, Charlotte trained and worked in the UK and had a very loyal client base, running one on one PT sessions as well as bootcamps. Charlotte has a huge love of the outdoors and often likes to draw upon it when taking sessions.. Particular interests lie in conditioning, strength and movement, drawing as well from experience in her own particular loves in fitness, yoga and pilates.

Rachael is a level 3 certified personal trainer with a BSC Hons degree from Loughborough University and 10 years experience competing in professional swimming. She is passionate about getting people involved in exercise but more importantly enjoying the experience and striving for great results.

With a background in professional swimming,  she competed representing Great Britain and England for the last 15 years. A few of her achievements include; World, European, Commonwealth junior champion and World, Commonwealth senior medalist. 

She spend the last 10 years surrounded by world class athletes and coaches has spurred Rachael to pursue personal training, so that she can pass on her knowledge and experience to others no matter what their goals are.
