Arjun had a passion for outdoor sports as a kid and found his niche in basketball where he played at the varsity level in India. He then took to running to stay fit and got hooked on triathlons. In 6 years of triathlon racing, he has competed in at least 11 triathlons across Asia and is a regular in the local triathlon scene. He consistently finishes top of the amateur age group field and has qualified for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship & Challenge. He aims to excel further in the middle and short distance formats before commencing his Kona WC bid.
His coaching approach centers around Adaptability, Flexibility, Progress & Sustainability – with a core focus on understanding the athlete physically and psychologically. Being a father and a working professional, his coaching approach emulates well a balance around athlete lifestyle and performance goals. His knowledge of course terrain, weather, and race day conditions enables him to prep athletes specifically. This translates directly into triathlon-specific clinics he conducts.
