Frazer McArdell BSc, MSc, PGCE

head of ufit sports education

A fully qualified personal trainer, Frazer brings a humanistic approach to training developed through his coaching and teaching career.  Always working with a pre-determined objective in mind, his aim is to optimise client’s performance and extend their personal goals.

He captained his university 1st XV and won caps for Scotland Rugby at Under 18s, 19s and 20s as well as playing for Gloucester Rugby at ‘A League’ level.

A major injury and 3 full knee reconstructions finished his rugby career after which he concentrated on the study of sports conditioning and coaching. Gaining a MSc in Coaching Science as well as a BSc Sports in Conditioning and Coaching led him to acquiring his Post Graduate Certificate in Education after which he taught Sports Science at Hartpury University.

It was this experience and background that enabled him to create the UFIT Sports Education division where he leads a talented team, each a specialist in their own sport, to provide Continuing Professional Development to other professionals in the sporting field,
